Interior Designer Notes On This Lowell, MA Sunroom Renovation

For this interior design assignment, we were asked to create a design for a sunroom. The room had previously been used as a catch-all room. Client’s request, “I want a pretty room for myself of yellow and blues.” We took this 18’ x 9’ space from the furniture floor plan to completion, the room was able to seat five comfortably.

• Custom furniture from Fairfield Chair includes a loveseat fabric in a buffalo plaid of yellow and blue. 

• Paintings of iris flowers and floral still life were hung as accessories on the walls. 

• Lamps of green and marble table tops with a light green vein and hand-painted iron bases in ivory were added to complete the space.
