Perez Funeral Home Received An Interior Design and Remodel

A Cost Effective Design For The The New Business Owner

This was a complete interior design and remodeling project for a funeral home that has been a fixture in Lawrence, Massachusetts dating back to the 1900’s.  The goal of the project was to give a modern look to the design of this dated funeral home.  Utilizing soft yellow for the wall color and shades of blues for the furnishings and window treatments, the end result and desire was achieved. This project consisted of required the removal of old wallpaper, choosing paint colors, and developing a floor plan that would allow for services for as many as 120 people. Upholstered seating groupings were created and custom window treatments that would tie in the French blue and gold speck commercial carpet were designed.

Some concessions were made to stay within the budget. We were unable to reveal the original tin ceiling located underneath the existing drop ceiling due to all the wires and piping that it was hiding. We presented the owner with design options and explained where best to allocate the interior design budget. The result is a new, more contemporary look and a pleased client.
