Commercial Interior Design, Perez Funeral home in Lawrence, MA

This was a complete remodel project on a funeral home dating back to the 1900’s.  Trying to stay within the budget of the young and new owner, unfortunately, the drop ceiling stayed (the original tin ceiling was underneath the drop ceiling).  Due to all the wires and piping that it was hiding,  the owner chose to keep the drop.

The goal for this project was to give this dated and tired funeral home an updated and more modern look.  Utilizing soft yellow for the wall color and shades of blues for the furnishings and window treatments, the end result and desire was achieved.

This project consisted of removing all wallpaper, choosing paint color, developing a floor plan that would allow for 120 service chairs to be utilized.  Creating upholstered seating groupings and designing custom window treatments that would tie in the French blue and gold speck commercial carpet
